LAKE TEXOMA, Okla. (AP) — The Oklahoma Lake Patrol says the body of a 62-year-old Durant man who drowned in Lake Texoma has been recovered.
Troopers say the body of Forrest Wright was found about 7:30 a.m. Sunday after he had disappeared about 7 p.m. Thursday.
Troopers say a witness reported the Wright had jumped from a boat on the lake to swim — then went under water and never resurfaced.
The patrol says Wright was not wearing a flotation device and that his body was found in about 50 feet of water.
