No get-away car needed! A Tulsa bandit hires a taxi-cab to take him to two Tulsa Quik Trip stores to rob the stores overnight.

He first hit the QT on Gilcrease Museum Road just after 1 a.m. this morning. Then, about a half-hour later, the same bandit arrived by taxi at the I-244 and Garnett Quik Trip.

At the Garnett store, an alert customer blocked the taxi with another car until police arrived. The suspect, 35-year-0ld Jonathan Irvin,  was taken into custody. The loot from the robberies was found in the taxi.

No word on if the taxi fare was paid.
